In the north-west corner of Country Club Park, golf returned to the neighborhood (it had departed with the original country club) in the form of the Century driving range.

This is the Milbank mansion, named for the man who built it and developed the Country Club neighborhood around it.

site of the former Los Angeles Country Club. After the club moved, the land was given over to a developer. Buster Keaton's film Seven Chances begins in the country club at its new location, but later in the film a scene in which he is pursued by hordes of women, he is running through Country Club Park. In later life, he would live in a house just 2 blocks West of the neighborhood.

we have a big issue around here with assholes from out of state moving here and trying to get famous by acting like they're competing in a citywide "act like the biggest douche bag" competition. Honestly, Los Angeles' negative rep is generated by these marks and not authentic natives..
