This place is the PITS. Mismatched carpet, dingy hallways, more floors than you'd need, uncomfortable chairs, and the token engineering supercheapos using the laserprinters to print out DEN lectures by the ton, even though the sign reads 'library printintg only'.

Lower Hollywood Reservoir and Mulholland Dam are owned by the City of Los Angeles' Department of Water & Power. Mulholland Dam is concrete gravity dam constructed in 1924 to a height of approximately 125 feet. The reservoir was taken out of service in September of 2001 to comply with requirements of the Surface Water Treatment Act. The dam continues to hold back water for aethetic and emergency reasons.

Toyon Tanks are two circular water storage tanks constructed by City of Los Angeles' Department of Water & Power in 2002 as storage replacement that was lost when the Upper Hollywood and Lower Hollywood (Mulholland) were taken out of potable water usage that same year.

Lower Franklin No. 2 Reservoir is owned by the City of Los Angeles' Department of Water & Power. The dam was constructed in 1982 and is of compacted earth type. The reservoir is covered with a floating cover to mitigate negative water quality issues.

Stone Canyon Reservoir is owned by the City of Los Angeles' Department of Water & Power. Presently the LADWP is constructing a filtration plant to take Stone Canyon out of potable water usage to comply with State and Federal water quality regulations. The reservoir will continue to hold water.
