I was born there in 1964. My parents have both passed away and I wondering if anyone knows what floor the maternity ward was on at that time. I've always loved the name of that hospital.

Yes, you are right. The 37 acres is a typo-now corrected. However, if you zoom in closely you will see that the the northwest boundary does not include the northwest residences on Arizona, but bounds the southeast side of Arizona. This depiction comes from both official MGM sources and plat maps of the of Culver City.

Minor corrections. MGM Lot 2 was only 27 acres in area. Lot 1 (Main lot across Overland Avenue, now Sony Pictures) is the 37 acre parcel. Also, the yellowed map area includes the residential property on the north side of Arizona Avenue which was never part of the studio lot.

3 of my four deliveries were with Dr. Marcotulli at Queen of Angels. Tragically, my first in 1968 was stillborn. Then beautiful babies followed, my daughter in 1971 and my son in 1972. I remember the doctor as compassionate, happy, and humorous. I've always had fond memories of him. And I always make a point of viewing the former hospital when I travel the 101 into town.

I remember the beef dips on cheese bread and tossed ice cold salads. I was just a young girl starting out working in Panorama City and loved this restaurant. Would love to have the recipe if the owners would be so kind.

This list doesn't include movies shot under the bridge like Grease, There is an easy access to the river under the bridge so it is a really popular location for chase scenes.

I was married to Dr. Fabio Marcotulli - head of OB-Gyn I heard so many great stories. He passed away August 18, 1999. I always wondered about all the babies he brought into Los Angeles. God rest his soul - he was a dedicated doctor that had his medical career shortened by the medical malpractice suing lawyers. This has a horror of medicine in California - paying insurance to keep your doors open. He cried when he dropped me off at court in Pasadena in 1989. Cried. A grown man. A great man. Lawyers ruined medicine.
