He took the gate down, not the house. Geez people, lighten up. And for those of you saying he is a mean rich snob, check this out; Throughout his life, Perenchio’s charitable donations have been made anonymously, with substantial support given to the arts, education, health and a wide range of organizations in Los Angeles County. He was largely responsible for financing the state-of-the-art Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, which opened in 2008.
In November 2014 Perenchio made a bequest to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) of 47 works of art valued at $500 million. The bequest, which is the largest gift of art in the museum’s history, will go in effect after his death provided that LACMA completes construction of its new building by the end of 2023. At the press conference announcing his bequest, Perenchio declared that "A big part of the heart and soul of any city is its dedication and commitment to the arts… I hope the gift of my art collection to LACMA will inspire other collectors to do the same and encourage all types of donations large and small."[14] At the same press conference, former Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky said of Perenchio "There is no citizen of this community who has been more generous, and has asked for less..."[15]

I sure agree with Kenny12554...It is cruel and mean of the wealthy snobs to deprive tourist from seeing a part of TV history. They could have made a special tourist viewing area, but yet kept their privacy. Also like Kenny said, they could afford any home they want. See what money does to people. I can only imagine how rude, mean and how much better these snobs think they are than the rest of us!!!

Now I am looking at it again in Season 2 Episode 23 of Laramie (first aired 4/4/1961). In this episode it is being used as an asylum/sanitariam run by the shady Dr. Tolan and his assistant (played by Richard Kiel). The character (Cory Lake) played by Charles Bronson is commited by his evil greedy uncle and kept in the same basement where Norman Bates' mother's corpse was discovered in Psycho (the door under the stairwell).

I'm looking at it right now in Season 2 Episode 22 of the old NBC western drama "Laramie". The episode is called "Rimrock" and it first aired 3/21/1961. The house looks creepier than it did in Psycho and Laramie's star Jess Harper (Robert Fuller) calls it a "pig well". The part-time resident of the house is an alcoholic junkie named Sheriff Grant McClintock (who pretends to be his own dead brother). He uses it as his drug den.

In memory of Ted Rooney who just passed away. My brothers and I met him at Pandoras Box where he performed with Dave Reilly, Randy Carlisle and their band. I can't remember the band name but they did their version of "Moma" and we thought they were rock stars.

I was born with my face sticking out first from a vagine that wasn't my mother's. It probably wasn't a vagine at all. It probably was actually just a pile of stinky old alewife socks. And when they spanked me, I said "I have five ways to get there" and then passed out. I woke up and the hospital was a cave full of yodelers. And they were yodeling. It was rad. And then Kato Kaitlyn walked in and spoke with my mom's alewife vagine for like 6 or 50 minutes or something. It gave me septicemia so I had to ask for a ticket to the show. Okay. Bye to all you hospitalizers!
