I was born there on March 7, 1968 and adopted out on April 4, 1968 through Holy Family Children Services/Orphanage. I would really like to find/know who were my biological parents and place this last piece of the puzzle of my life to make it complete. I'll I know from the very limited information I've found on my adoption papers is that my birth parents were of Mexican descent and my birth dad had green colored eyes. If anyone has or might provide information that may lead me to finding them I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You!

The demolition of the Hal Roach studios in 1963 has always been, in my opinion, such a sad affair. I'm so sorry that this had to be the end of them and, at the same time, I feel deeply disappointed, because I believe that no efforts were made to preserve at least the administration building, which could have been turned into a museum as a tribute to all the personnel (actors/actresses, technicians etc) who worked there and gave us so much joy and pleasure.

Linda (guest) My uncle was a paramedic in the front lines during the D-Day Invasion. After the war, he worked at Cedars of Lebanon as a surgical assistant - assisting the doctors during an operation. In fact, he assisted brother brothers of James Cagney. During the years, he also assisted the doctors in the operating room with Desi Arness, Jane Wyman, George Chakaris, just to name a few. It was great hearing what it was like to work in a huge hospital where famous people go to get well. Thanks to my uncle, I am also a regular patient at Cedars Hospital, where I always receive the best medical care. My daughters go there too! My uncle retired in 1976. He enjoyed his years at Cedars of Lebanon.
