I have memories from around the early 80's when I was in the second or third grade, of going here on a field trip. I especially remember the cute girl I liked back then, Stacey Bryant. That's my main memory.

Great place to stop for a quick, challenging hike and a great view. Unfortunately, as of 6/30/10, closed due to the 405 construction project.

Corrections (you need to redraw the boundaries shown on the map):
The southern boundary ran along the southern property line of the homes on the south side of David Avenue between Robertson and Canfield.
The northern boundary ran along a line parallel to David Avenue, but starting on the northwest corner of Robertson and Hillsboro Avenue, west to Canfield Avenue.
The access road ran along the northern boundary.
Verified as correct by consulting Sanborn Fire Insurance Map year 1927, Volume 23, Plate 2397. Available at Los Angeles Public Library.
Regards.
