I believe stages 6 & 7 were used together for Moses coming down from Sinai in The Ten Commandments. Together, they make up one of the largest stages in Hollywood.

UCLA Hannah Carter Japanese Garden,

In November 2011, UCLA first announced plans to sell the garden, citing rising maintenance costs, deferred maintenance, and the lack of attendance due to limited parking. The sale of the garden is estimated to generate approximately $5.7 million, which would be used to fund core academic programs.
This decision to sell the garden follows a 2010 court decision that allowed UCLA to remove the “in perpetuity” requirement included within the original donation agreement for the garden in 1964. In mid-January UCLA began removing some objects and artifacts within the garden in anticipation of placing the garden for sale, likely to occur in early February.
Zoned agricultural, the one-and-one-half-acre hillside site could conceivably be redeveloped for a single-family residence, destroying the garden. Currently UCLA is not planning to sell the garden with any protective covenants or requirements calling for it to be maintained or preserved. As a public institution, UCLA is required to accept the highest bid.

There may have been some Douglas Aircraft production in this area, but the main assembly plant for McDonald Douglas was adjacent to the Long Beach Airport, on the north side. There also was an older Douglas plant (The original one, in fact) at the Santa Monica Airport. The major industrial facility at THIS site was ther "Harvey Aluminum" plant.

Oppos. the little plaque on the grass is where the Roach administration bldg. stood. They were building the pillars for elevated train tracks when I last saw it. Walk south (?) along Washington Blvd and turn left onto Landmark Street. The second bldg. you pass on your left was the site of Lak L&H. Continue walking along the street. The first 4 stages were where I last saw two large garages on the left. About 1/2 way up Landmark Street, that part of it sits right over the old backlot street set! It may end at a ten foot high wall, I'm not sure if it still does. That would be just before the school playground. That playground is where most of the claasic bits in some of the old silent L&H movies were filmed, and where "The Battle of the Century" pie fight took place! I havent been there in about ywo years now, so I don't know how much has changed, with the construction of the train station and tracks. When you walk back to Washington Blvd. turn left. The next low bldg. you come to on yur left stands on the site of the "Our Gang" Cafe, which was at one time the studio commissary!
