This area was also onced used as part of the western town seen in most Bonanza episodes when the Cartwright's rode into town, with the plaster paris mountain seen many times in the background being used to hide the Desilu mill built after Desilu bought the ajacent land. With this same area later used as a ghost town in an episode of the Brady Bunch where family runs into an old prospector played by actor Jim Backus, who thinks they came to steal his gold.
