    I climbed up here a lot. When I lived about a block away, even my German Shepard Climbed with assistance. It is made of sandstone and crumbling rock when doing technical climbing nearly did me in a few times.

    I used to live on the fence line when there was water in the reservoir. The dear would walk by and it was a stopping place for migrating birds. The DWP built this as part of the distribution system for the Owens River Aqueduct. There is a nearby street named Owensmouth because Mulholand moved the mouth of the Owens River here. The dike was found to be damaged by earthquakes and DWP decided not to rebuild it.

    Officially called the "7th Street/Metro Center/Julian Dixon Station". Connection from the Red and Purple Lines to the Blue Line to Long Beach. Blue Line trains are on the upper level, Red and Purple Line trains are on the lower level. The MTA changed the Wilshire/Western branch of the Red Line to the Purple Line as part of the Dec 17, 2006 new timetables.

    According to the Warner Center Specific Plan, Warner Center is "bounded generally by Vanowen Street, the Ventura Freeway, De Soto Avenue, and the lots fronting along the west side of Topanga Canyon Boulevard". The current size shown here only extends west to Canoga, it should extend west two more blocks to Topanga.
